Nice!
What's the red 12 string?
Oh how I want an electric mandolin. How do you like that one?
Is the Godin mando an A8 model? My old eyes can't read the headstock even if I magnify the image. It’s really great. I play in a Bruce Springsteen tribute show and needed a mandolin, I intended to get a beginner model with a pickup, but I was talked into this one. It’s just perfect with a band as it doesn’t feedback and has a lot of treble to cut through a dense rock band.
I love a purple guitar.View attachment 158985This got a workout today, learning Petrucci stuff is never easy…
Me too. I got this one out today.I love a purple guitar.
That looks killer!Me too. I got this one out today.
Bought the giant D'Addario 25 pack of 10s, then promptly decided to try 9s for the first time in forever, and haven't even opened the big box, after over a year. Doh!Who else needs to restock strings :’)
PRS is pretty!
It's only an S2.... had a great top for an S2!That blue PRS is pretty!!
What's up with number 2's neck finish? I have never seen a guitar like this. Looks really cool. How fast does it feel? does the design have an impact on playability other than aesthetics? The bridge looks crazy as well. What's the builder's name if you don't mind?
It's Dean Zelinsky's patented Z-Glide neck. The pattern is supposed to reduce friction (less contact surface) and wick away sweat. What's up with number 2's neck finish? Thanks! As someone who hates sticky neck finishes I'm already a fan. Sounds like a good alternative to sanded necks that are more exposed to moisture changesIt's Dean Zelinsky's patented Z-Glide neck. The pattern is supposed to reduce friction (less contact surface) and wick away sweat.
The Z-neck is fast as greased lightning and NEVER sticky at all. It takes a couple of playings to get used to, but it isWhat's up with number 2's neck finish? I have never seen a guitar like this.
