What’s your choice of Amp model(s) with best “feel under the fingers” ?

Yup. I love that amp (model) set really loud & bright.

Also the Tucana.

There are a lot of really great amps in the fancy magic box, and I like playing with them from time to time. But, those are the ones that I always come back to.

I always end up back at the Tucana, but the plexis feel great, the train wrecks are really good for that, the buttery feels great, the DC-30 models... a ton of great amps in there.

The Ruby Rocket is great, seems like it might be my ticket to cutting through a mix better. What IRs do you like?

Mostly the IR from Mikko’s GOT or Leon’s TV Mix 2. I play P90’s a lot and these IR’s work great on everything for me. Always in Ultrares. Tone is very subjective, but try the Ruby with these and maybe you’ll like it as much as I do.

another one that I love feel-wise is USA IIC++.
Just feels better than other IIC+ models IMO.

JP2C is my fave for high gain. Very articulate and clear, making it great for technique practice.

The best preset I've played to date has these two amps in stereo......

The Plexi 50W 1 and the ODS Clean with a Klon. Especially the ODS Clean, so squishy yet articulate. I found the 1x12 Triptik cab was best with that, saw it in one of @Burgs presets and it's been my go to.

Lately it's been a slightly tweaked FAS Brown via a mix of GB's and V30's, awesome for classic rawk with HB's and P90's.

ODS-100 for clean and light crunch, USA pre LD2 yellow for saturation

I can get down with all of them in some way.
USA Clean and Band Commander along w the Triple Crown, Revv, Friedman HBE and the Matchless are the usual amps though.

love the tucana model. to me it feels like dumble meets IIc+. really unique and very versatile. also triptik modern is the one that caught me already while owning ax8.
I should revisit those models.
Something tells me they are made for super loud playing.

I'm still a fan of the old 5150 Block letter for the high gain stuff. I tried one of those in real life back in the day and still with I had bought one. For edge of breakup or "cleaner" tones the AC 20 has been scratching my itch. The wreckers and Dumble have been amazing too. The new IR Rock Box packs from Ownhammer have been my favorite IR's and I own many different types. I prefer them over the new dyna cabs at this point to.
