Use case for an external footswitch?

Hey everyone,

I've got a Mission SP-1 that I use as a dedicated volume pedal with my FM9, as well as a separate dedicated Wah. Question that I have is, since the SP-1 has a footswitch, and since the FM9 has 3 input jacks, is there a use case for the footswitch?

I've seen lots of video's on using it to switch between Wah and Volume, but my pedal board is built already with the two. Any other ideas on making use of that 3rd input?

Thanks in advance!

Usually I use it to switch between wah and volume. On one preset I use it to switch between scenes, since I spend much of the scene riding the treadle (it's changing harmonies in the pitch block ...) and it's easier to use the toe switch than to keep moving my foot over to switch scenes then back to the treadle.
