Unique guitars

Here's a unique SG style that I built for Mike Keneally a few years back.......
The top is recycled Brazilizn rosewood. Carbon fiber reinforced neck through & chambered body wings made from chakte kok & eastern hard rock maple. Fretboard is Brazilian bois de rose. Hand wound Callahan '59 humbuckers. Fiber optic side dot markers change color w/ pickup switching.
Red for bridge, green for mid & blue for neck.
Cheers!

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it. :)
I still build but I stopped paying for a website some time ago & I don't have social media anymore either.
I burned out on the industry. I had to just step back from the business aspect of things & actually concentrate on building instruments that were unique & individual.
My name is Gabe. You're more than welcome to e-mail me & I can send you some pics if you're interested & we can go from there.

Much appreciated, Man. I would love a custom one day. I'm sorry, I wanted just to see more of your work to admire and dream in the meantime.

Wow.
The wood on that first one is amazing!
Stunning stuff.

If you don't want to do this sort of work any more, that's fine of course, but if you do, even a little of it, it's a shame you don't have a web site.
Thank you, Dave! I appreciate that. I'll see about recruiting one of my siblings to help get a site back up.
Honestly, I appreciate the encouragement to do so.
Happy holidays man. :)

Kinda surprised this one hasn't appeared yet:

(not Tony Levin, the Chapman Stick!)
Here are a few instruments I made from when I was an apprentice luthier at Moonstone Guitars.
I more less modeled my touch guitar in the middle from a Warr guitar. My friend Randy Strom let me borrow his for measurements. Randy was a founding member of KittyHawk, early prog rock band where he played a Chapman Stick.
I've since bought myself a Chapman Railboard. They're slightly different from a standard Stick, as they're milled out of a solid billet of aluminum.
I made a quick release stand for mine so I can walk up to it, instead of wearing it.
Very unique indeed!

Holy crap @Planta Fantasma, gorgeous work. These just look like functional art. Thanks so much for posting more examples. I second Dave's sentiment about a site. Even if you just set up a social media page, it would be an easy place just to keep you work on public display with your contact info. I'm no fan of Facebook, but many luthiers are maintaining pages their only, because they can easily maintain them on their own. But if you go for a site, there are many places that allow you to set up sites with templates that make it very easy to maintain. Thanks again!
