Very cool! Here's a unique SG style that I built for Mike Keneally a few years back.......
The top is recycled Brazilizn rosewood. Carbon fiber reinforced neck through & chambered body wings made from chakte kok & eastern hard rock maple. Fretboard is Brazilian bois de rose. Hand wound Callahan '59 humbuckers. Fiber optic side dot markers change color w/ pickup switching.
Red for bridge, green for mid & blue for neck.
Cheers!

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.Dude, incredible! Would you mind sharing your site?
Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it.
I still build but I stopped paying for a website some time ago & I don't have social media anymore either.
I burned out on the industry. I had to just step back from the business aspect of things & actually concentrate on building instruments that were unique & individual.
My name is Gabe. You're more than welcome to e-mail me & I can send you some pics if you're interested & we can go from there.

Here are a few more pics from the archives.Much appreciated, Man. I would love a custom one day. I'm sorry, I wanted just to see more of your work to admire and dream in the meantime.

Wow.And a few more.
Cheers man!
Thank you, Dave! I appreciate that. I'll see about recruiting one of my siblings to help get a site back up.Wow.
The wood on that first one is amazing!
Stunning stuff.
If you don't want to do this sort of work any more, that's fine of course, but if you do, even a little of it, it's a shame you don't have a web site.
Here are a few instruments I made from when I was an apprentice luthier at Moonstone Guitars.Kinda surprised this one hasn't appeared yet:

This is the first JT headstock I’ve liked. The shape doesn’t really bother me. It’s the logo.View attachment 131798

I love that German-carve-into-a-scroll transition. Scrolls aren’t easy, and yours brings an extra level of difficulty. Here are a few more pics from the archives.
I have one. Yes it does. It's not horrible, but very noticeable sitting down.Yeah! It weighs around four pounds. I would like to actually hold one because I suspect it may suffer from neck dive at that weight.
