two drives come on

Hi - Im a noob, but learning. I've created a patch, but 2 drives come on. In my ax editor, it doesnt show them as engaged. Is there something obvious that im not getting. I have an fx8, mk1, love it. I also am not very good at matching patches.

When do the 2 drives come on? What are you seeing or hearing that leads you to believe that two drives are engaging? Usually you'd have footswitches assigned to both drives, so you can just use the switches to turn off one or both drives. FX8 users will be able to help better if you post a preset.

What patches are you matching, and what are you trying to match them to?

Turn one of them off. Then save the patch.

Hi - the two drives come on, when I select the scene, and then hit either of the drive buttons. I cant seem to just turn one or the other on. Will work on it tonight when I get home!

It actually sounds like you have two footswitches assigned to the same single Drive block.

Sounds like you have the same drive assigned to both footswitches.
