Strange problem!

Ok,at rehearsal today my power amp gave up so i went direct to the pa.

cleans with delay all worked fine but all distorted patches with delay you could only hear reverb,no delay coming out at all!!

any ideas? :shock:
 
You're not providing a lot of info... are you running stereo? If so, did you feed both left and right to the PA? What type of delay do you use? If you're feeding only one side of a stereo signal chain and there's phase reversal going on, you could end up not hearing the delay.

A bit more info, and someone should be able to help you figure it out...

Yeah sorry! i run both left and right outputs to the pa and the delay is stereo,worked great with my stereo 4x12 so i have no idea why it wont work through the pa! :(

Mr. Fractal is correct, I believe :p

The first time I did this at home (checking for mono compatibility) I was really confused. Then I noticed the phase reverse parameter. Duhhhhhhh!
