Strange EV-1 behaviour

Hi all,
maybe a stupid question, but I have a problem with my EV-1 pedal: it is supposed to be a true audio linear taper in expression mode, instead of this I can see, in the controller settings, the small point go 85% the total travel with a mere 5% of the pedal travel.
I have checked connections, re-calibrated the pedal changed the cable (a stereo one) but no results.
Suggestions?

When you calibrated, did you see 0% at heel down and 100% at toe down?

What was the value if you move the pedal about half way?

Since this is a Fractal product, I'd open a support case.
 
I know you said you checked by this is typically an issue with the cable. You are certain this is a TRS-TRS cable? I just got an EV2 and it calibrates and works the best of any pedal I’ve ever used.

Cable is a normal stereo cable
What do you mean with "check it" pedal or cable?

Assuming that the cable is working properly and you’re plugged into the correct ports, it could be the pedal itself.
 
Dunno: Checked with meter both pot and cable and all is ok, then reconnected, powered on and re-calibrated (disclaimer: made this entire process million times before) and voilà the taper is perfectly linear! :openmouth:
Anyway, it seems to be solved, thanks all for help! And have nice Christmas holidays!
