I currently use the Axe FX II XL and think to upgrade to III soon. One of the reasons is that my workflow sometimes includes frequent reamping of the dry recorded signal into various chains. Right now with the Axe FX II I have to constantly switch sources between Analog input and USB input in order to record, then reamp, then record again.
I'm wondering if with the Axe FX III I can improve this workflow by being able to input both analog and USB simultaneously? From the manual it seems possible (p. 20 "USB Inputs and Outputs") but I'm not entirely clear if these input options are parallel or if I'll still have to switch between them as I do now.
