Rush… is it true?

Just about to post the video message from Geddy and Alex! How can you not love these two? They're so humble and hilarious!

They're going to have to wait though, until the Jays win the World Series!!! Geddy is a HUGE fan of the Jays!!

I wonder if this is all the shows? 12 shows in a little over 3 months.
Good for them. They paid more than enough respect to Neil's legacy, and they deserve to get out there and play in front of their fans.

I'm a Yankees fan, and the Blue Jays have just walked all over the Yanks in the first 2 games. Geddy must have a huge grin over that.

I watched the Sportsnet broadcast and he was at game 1. Not sure about game 2. Back in the 80's, Geddy used to go on the field before a game and practice with the team.

I'm sure the Yankees aren't done yet. The bats started to come alive after they pulled Yesavage. Should be an interesting game Tuesday.

Back to Rush. I've never seen them live...I think it may be time to do so!! I presume they will be playing at Rogers Centre and as loud as game 1 and 2 were, I think a stadium full of Rush fans will be a hell of a lot louder! As they said, it will be bitter-sweet for them, but it's clear, as much as they miss Neil, they miss playing together and being together on stage.

I don't like this.

Call me old and curmudgenonly, but Rush was three amazing musicians. And will always be those three.

I'd be okay with a Peart tribute at like Massey Hall or something iconic like that. But this all feels wrong and it's making me sad, not happy.

I realize this is a me problem.
