Round and Round We Go

This is a tune that I wrote using iReal b on my iPhone. It's a soft, easy listening type of guitar piece. The title came from the ending phrase on the guitar - I could hear it in my head so I named it that.

Instruments used:

PRS DGT (all guitars)
AXE-FX II (all guitar tones)
Trilogy (bass)
Halion Sonic (rhodes)
Larry Seyer Acoustic Drums

 
Really peaceful and pretty! Also reminded me a bit of Liquid Tension Experiment...

Edit: You know when a song is good it's when it ends and you have to play it again, now for the 3:rd time!
 
Wow, great stuff! Good to hear an Axe-Fx doing some nice clean guitar. Now I want to hear the rest of the album!

Have you ever just not 'thought' about what you were doing and it turned out better than 'thinking' about it?

That's the way this piece came together.

There were several times I 'thought' about doing something different - "Oh, I need to re-record the first guitar" or "The timing needs to be a bit better" or whatever.

On this song, I just 'let it be'.

I kinda like that approach - it certainly is less stressful!

At any rate, I appreciate the positive comments. And I'm really happy with my AXE-FX II.

Can you post your patches you used on this?
I've been on the fence on buying the AXE-FX II, this just may have roped me in.
I was really interested in how well the AXE-FX II could produce clean tones.
BTW, sounds real nice.
