Ready for the Amp Show

Subject to DSP limitations and Helix can use both DSPs for amps or effects as needed. Different coding can be more efficient too. All that matters at the end of the day is the right feel and tone. We'll all know soon enough.

Much simpler code doesn't use much cpu either.

Most of us are sure Cliff knows a little about that!

I just meant the helix would have much simpler code for amp modeling (not better and much less detailed) to run so many models at once

Surely thats nothing more than an assumption at this stage - there's more than one way of building up a "model" ? For all we know Line 6 have developed a new method which places a lesser demand on the CPU's ??

As already mentioned by Cliff, upcoming firmware for the Fractal products will feature serious CPU usage reduction.

Really? That would be awesome! Now my more realer can be more better!

Do you have a reference for the comment?

FAS & Line6 are both modeling at the circuit/component level, so what would one think?
