Programming the Axe-fx to work with a poorly tapered expression pedal.

I have an expression pedal tied to my input volume on all my presets. Unfortunately it is not the best. Basically, 60% of the on screen travel occurs within the first 10% of pedal's own movement. (If that doesn't make sense, I can try to be more clear)

Anyway, what controls do I need to use in the modifier menu to fix this? I'm a bit lost. I'm sure it's possible.

What model pedal do you have? It probably has a log taper pot in it. You need one with a linear taper.

Replace the pot with one of these:
24mm TOCOS B10K 10K Linear Taper Potentiometer 20mm Split Shaft RV24YN 20S-in Potentiometers from Electronic Components & Supplies on Aliexpress.com
This is the one I ordered, the lot is for two pieces, one for backup. Always handy. Arrived in slightly more than two weeks.

Ernie Ball uses them and thinks they're great.

See the volume pedal category, third Q.

I put one in a wah pedal and it works fine as an expression pedal. Looks very sturdy and well made.

Now if only those wah pedals weren't as "toe heavy". I have to set it really stiff to not have it tip forward from it's own weight.
