Preset Looper Length?

Is there a way to "arm" the looper in advance so that when I open a patch, the looper is preset to a certain length?

No. That’s not typically what “arm” means with loopers, so this is a bit confusing.

My apologies. Replace "arm" with "preset." I believe the answer is still "no," correct?

The answer is : depends. You can set the looper to be x beats long when the preset tempo is set.

Thanks, ChristThePhone. That's going to be my workaround. By setting a tempo, then setting a number of beats, I can get a nice range of preset loop lengths. I'll be experimenting with this today.

A little update: this totally works! It takes a little arithmetic if you care to convert beats to fractions of a second, but this totally works. I'm using it on some gigs now.
