I'm disappointed to be honest.

Screen now has colors but UI looks bad as old one. (After Helix UI Axe's UI is terrible)
I think AX8 was right move (seperate gain, volume, bass, mid, treble, presence etc knobs, really nice to use) and I was really hoping axe III would have these too.. but no..

Looks more like Axe2 XL +++ small update to me.. Well price is not bad I give them that. I was expecting a lot more expensive unit.

Well I guess I try it some day anyway..

Very excited and on the list!
However, $2500 is a hefty price. Let's hope it sounds way better than the XL +, and we're not just paying for color and bigger. And hopefully all the existing midi controllers will work. Because it will get real expensive Real fast if forced to purchase all new controllers and expression pedals.

Yes.

It’s a monster. There’s so much horsepower in the Axe-Fx III that some of us have built presets — everything-we-ever-wanted-in-a-preset kind of presets — with CPU left over. Huge interface improvement in so many ways. And that backlit logo gives you instant rack cred.
