Post Your Axe-Fx III Rigs Here!

Agreed! If Cliff or any other person with responsibility in this area is reading I hope you will consider it. It's very lightweight from a coding perspective and would be a potent enabler for on-stage sonic work.
So I know feedback is possible as @AlGrenadine FracPad can get feedback to the app via midi so I wonder how one could tap into that systex some how

Based on what knowledge of existing Fractal code?
Based on an extensive coding career across multiple platforms. This is trivial computing, and unless YOU have knowledge of existing Fractal code that says otherwise I would appreciate less rudeness from you.

That's great, but you don't know the Fractal internals, which means you don't know.

I also don't know and I also have plenty of coding experience, which is why I don't assume it's easy.

Sorry you found my reply rude, but I've been around here a long time and people tend to throw around "it's a simple change" or "it's easy" without any context or knowledge...

The programming is literally: wait for a MIDI message, echo that message back.

Half of that code is already implemented since the AFX already listens for MIDI messages.

There would be a small amount of human interface code to let the user specify what channel the feedback occurred on.

I believe this qualifies as lightweight, and I must point out that a polite response by you would involve considering the problem at hand, asking questions if it wasn't clear, and then rendering judgement. You chose an immediate snide putdown instead, and I do believe that qualifies as rude.

Regardless of that mini-thrash, I hope Fractal will consider implementing the feature. It enables a whole new level of live control options for the Axe-FX and would be a wonderful feature.

I now return you to your previously scheduled rig porn.

I think one glaring issue is the way modifiers work in Axe world - where even expression pedals or switches can't get "feedback" from the Axe. Once you assign a modifier, it locks out control from anything other than the assigned controller so even if we had midi feedback, we can't change any values on the unit anyway... so this "easy" thing becomes way more complicated than just midi feedback ya know?

You Go Daddy! That is a class act set up!!
Thank you so much! And I can grab everything in under a minute and gig with it.
I always have a „gig ready“ case with two sets of spare cables, so I just have to unplug everything, grab the case and I‘m ready to go. I love it when everything is very efficient.
I always carry:
4 power cables
4 cables from Axe to the Blueamps
2 trs cables for Wah
2 guitar cables
2 XLR cables from axe to fc6

Yeah I‘m a Monk but I never failed on a gig

Do you recommend these Blueamps also for homeplaying or are those more suited for gigging?

Thanks!
I can definitely recommend them for both.
You have every opportunity with the optional EQ.
When I dial in Presets, I leave the EQ at noon (neutral) and when I play at home I can easily adjust the EQ for this situation.

No wireless system yet, that is my next investment. Any recommendations?
Before you go splurging on some fancy wireless system, be sure your cowbell locker is fully stocked and in order! I am sure you understand the importance of that measure!! That said, nice rack (didn't think I would ever say that to a dude, but there it is - unless your avatar picture is just you hiding from your femininity and your not actually a dude in which case I would say "nice racks")!!!

My rig for the yearly Christmas shows here in Malmö, Sweden. Covering everything from classic Christmas songs to Beyonce and Guns'n Roses and the AxeFx3 makes it a breeze. Love it!

Finally finished rewiring my big board. Just waiting for a couple modi’s cables to sync up the smartclock, axe and microcosm. So excited to start playing again- I had disassembled this during the pandemic, but my church gig is starting up again, so I decided to get the board back together again.View attachment 127194

Hi Adman103.
Wonderful pedalboard!

How did you light under gear please?

Congratulations again!

All the best!
