Possible Bug > Consistent 0.2dB L/R difference on analogue output2.

sprint

Axe-Master
Running Axefx3 mk1 @ Cygnus 16.02

Consistent with Output2 set to -10dBV and: stereo, or copy L>R, or sum L+R, or copy Output1 - always a 0.2dB L/R difference. Does not occur on analogue xlr output1.

Testing is with a synth block (type=triangle, track=off) into output2 block and cabling out from Axefx3 xlr out2 into audio interface and measured in DAW. Checked for any possibility of panning being slightly off in interface or DAW, and tested with 2 cables (L/R), 1 cable swapped back and forth, and multiple different cables.

Interestingly, I notice the same behavior on AxefxII mk1 xlr output1.

There was a similar issue some time ago when routing through send/returns on the grid.

Anyone else have this? (hopefully not an issue starting in my unit).

You can hear a .2db difference? You are a better man than I.
No - course I can't hear it, but since I found it, figured I may as well mention it - I'm sure less audible issues have been reported.

Probably in your audio interface. Regardless, 0.2 dB is within spec.
When I swap cables from Axe output 2 to 1, the difference dissappears - so pretty sure it's in Axefx.

Anyway - agreed it's not significant - I only tracked it down because it initially led me to think I had some other issue hapenning in my signal path.

Thanks
