Does the GPA-100 give you enough for a band with another guitarist? I watched a Jonathan Cordy video where he said he didn't think it was.I´m happy with the Harley benton gpa-100. Sounds 95% the same comparing to the Seymour Duncan Power Stage (I spent a mounth with both).
What made you go back to the Fryette? I do have a PS-100, but I was looking for a less cumbersome solution. You can use just about anything in the power amp array of choice.
Anything from an example: electro harmonix pedal power (5mm, 15 watt howitzer) or similar to the expensive stuff that you’ve stated that you don’t have interest in. No problem.
Whatever you decide is fine you will have to determine if it’s pushing your cabs as you like.
I am back to a PS-2A fryette. No frfr. 2x12 Mesa recto cab.
Previously used: Seymour Duncan ps170 , orange pedal baby 100w , crowne xli800 and various tube amps in 4cm.
Good luck. Happy testing.

What level do you have set on you FM3 output? +4 or -10?Another satisfied GPA-100 user here. In my opinion there is plenty of headroom in that little box to keep up with the drummer. I have the volume knob at around 12-2 o'clock and the FM3 output knob at noon - and I can easily hear myself in my 5 piece rockband (2 guitarists). So my experience is that there is noting to be afraid of.

So are you looking for a pedal based power amp or will a rack mount work? Also can you define lower price?I'd like to try a poweramp with my FM3 into my 1x12 or 2x12 cabs. I'm sure people will recommend the Matrix, but I'd like to keep it at a lower price, since it would only be used occasionally. What can you recommend?
I use the Fm3 with output level +4db and the volume on 10, then I adjust only the gpa100 volume. It is loud, but it also depends of the speaker impedance.Does the GPA-100 give you enough for a band with another guitarist? I watched a Jonathan Cordy video where he said he didn't think it was.
Search for PLAYTECH GPA-100. It is the same, but 120v.Oh damn. I just noticed the GPA-100 only operates at 240V. I'm in the US. Plus, my cabs are 16ohm, so I'd most likely only get half of the power.
That's the one I've purchased.Search for PLAYTECH GPA-100. It is the same, but 120v.
