hello,

i've been running my axe fx 2 to a matrix gt800fx to my mesa 4x12, my friend has another mesa 4x12 and i wanted to try stereo.

the issues is that i have a 3FT speaker cable for 1 cab and a 20ft speaker cable for the other..

will this cause any issues? like phase issues?
thanks

Electrons travel at near light velocity even in a wire, the difference between 3' and 20' is imperceptible.

If you've a soldering iron you could chop up the 20' cable into 2 x 10' or 2 x 6' or whatever and have identical length cables - then use the jacks from the 3' cable for the bare ends on the new cables.

hoccha is right. It takes longer for sound to travel ten feet from your speaker to your ear than it takes for your signal to pass through a thousand miles of wire.

To get a 1ms delay in signal you would probably need a cable around 300km in length (give or take)
