Bug? PC sound stops when using my Axe-FX 3 as an audio interface.

Edit, because :rolleyes: Quotes matter. Here, the use of quotes is used to convey a specific statement, hence quotes. In this case, one could substitute "In before Cliff says 'It's the cable.'".

Others here got the reference.

"It's the cable." is well-known nomenclature when Cliff weighs on a cable issue. Obvious joke was obvious. Nevermind the fact that I "liked" the post of the guy who said something to the effect of "...probably the cable" before I posted. 🤪

I was kidding, I thought the clown emoji denoted that clearly enough. If not, I apologise.

But even though I didn't feel the need to say so, I thought along the same lines as unix-guy, and do believe me: we both got the fact that it's a Cliff quote.

We just thought: Hey, others quoted that already, because you said "in before".

You only specified "in before Cliff says it" after the fact, hence the "goal posts" joke.

It's all good. We just got our wires mildly crossed, I guess.

All good. Some of us have been on forums for decades, common vernacular isn't so common apparently.
 
I changed the cable today with the one I used to plug my Axe. It seems ok now, though I see some sound minor cracks or instabilites but no cuts for now. Havent had enough time to work on my PC though, so I will have a better idea within the next days.
 
Aaaand.. the audio cut-outs are still here. Not as often, but they appear. It only fixes for a while, when I change the sample rate back n forth from that bottom right icon on my PCs task bar. I don't know what might be the problem at this point.. I might purchase a new cable to check again. I dont know..
