That's exactly what I did. Now some lucky guy or gal will get their AX8 a little earlier when I decline my purchase invite.

I think that was the point of the AX8 was that cheaper and less powerful chips = muuuuuuch cheaper $$ unit for us all to have. Yes, it has less capability but I for one would not be playing fractal if it weren't for this little beast. In Australia, this thing costs just over $2500 as it is and the XL II is about $4500 new I think. So, I'm happy with a bit less as i means I can join this club. .
