Hi Guys,

Well I have been out on the road with the Axe FX II for 11 days now and I absolutely love it!! I still on lt have a few (30) patches now but my patches have so much stuff in them that I am switching things on and off in stead of switching patches a lot. (Twice the Power Baby)!!

I love having the headphone out. after shows and the next day before leaving for sound checks I have been plugging in my in Ears and tweaking things here and there then tweaking a little at sound checks too by using the headphone out. Great.

The one Cat 5 cable to the II is great. I literally plug in one AC power cable into the Axe FX II and the Expression cable for the EP-1 into the MFC and Im good to go. Very cool and simple set up which I am way into these day. Simple.

It's way easy to tweak with out and editor too!

Sounds have been really digging it as well See video YouTube - ‪More sound tech comments on the axe fx 2‬‏

These last two nights have been a Guitar Trilogy with the Travis Larson band and the Rikk Beatty Bands (both great guitar Players) and they have both been digging the Axe FX II. (maybe converts soon) We have a really fun and crazy jam with all of us at the end each night and I am happy to say that My patches held up great next to there rigs. (i know that Axe FX can, but was worried about how I dial in my patches for that kind of thing). :)

Here is a video from the show in Fife Thursday night. YouTube - ‪LMB at Loui Gs 2‬‏

more video to come soon, thank you for watching

Looks like fun Larry! Sounds great too! Looking forward to the other videos and thanks for sharing...

Great to hear when a professional such as yourself gets all worked up over a piece of gear. I got a sample of the AF II last week at the NY Amp Show so I know what your worked up about. I cant wait to hit the "buy it now" button. I have never been so happily and willing to surrender $2199.

Thx for posting Larry. Great to hear that it's holding up in the mix with other guitarists. I've heard Travis on the ebmm forum he's a great player.

Sounds great Larry! I liked how it cleaned up when you either rolled back the volume or was picking lighter but either way it showed the dynamics and response to your playing, which was KILLER by the way.

If you ever come out to S.F. bay area, love to come out and see ya play.

Larry, your playing is INCREDIBLE! Jeez, if you ever make it back to the East Coast, you have to let the forum know. I'd love to come and see you play! Great stuff!

Great stuff as always Larry.

Are you going to be in SD anytime soon? Looking forward to seeing you again live and rocking with the Axe II.

You were in Seattle and I missed you? @#$@#$@#$ Oh, wait, I just looked at your tour. Looks like you are coming back on the 18th. Oh crap, of course I have a conflict... OK, how do I go about rescheduling that...?

Hi guys, thank you for all the comments! The tour is going great! It's really been a blast too, playing shows with two other guitars that are just smoking hot! Travis Larson and Rikk Beatty.

Fender 308 those Orange amp and cabs belong to Rikk Beatty not me t all! ;0) in fact the running joke these past few days has been "Rikk your not going direct? That's so 90's". Travis is going direct with a Digitech pedal board and he has some nice tones coming from it. Everyone though is impressed with the axe fx and I mean everyone. I have some video of all of us jammin at the end of each night and you can here the different tones from all three of us. It's way cool.

Marky. I'm in san diego on Wednesday and Thursday, with a show with Monette Marino thursday night at Anthology.

Banjose, yes I'm back in redmond at Oddfellow's on Friday the 17th and seattle at Fuel on the 18th come on out if you can.

Yes no cabs just monitors on satge for me and sometimes my in ears. It's been nice but old school rock clubs are freaking loud. I haven't played this loud in maybe 20 years.and I finally see what some of you guys here talk about with mono PA systems. This is probably the only time in many years in a club or venue that I have run into mono PA systems. Wtf? It's 2011. I've been playing cultural atr centers, theaters, casino, festivals nice clubs and its always a stereo PA It's loike they are just concerned with volume. Oh well. :0)

I'm working on uploading more video tonight

Thank you again

Larry

Update, the 3 guitarist part of the tour is sadly over. It was a blast. Here is a quick short video of a funky break down in a tiny bar in Olympia Washington, the last night of this part of the tour. It was a great night. Lots of note and lots emotion.
