Microphone simulations/User cabs?

I am sure I misunderstood something about the basic concept of my axe fx: But would it be possible to have only a microphone simulation in the cab block? I mean without the speaker that comes along with the block? I am looking for this to fit with my piezo equipped Godin nylon string...

I think there is a 'null' IR floating around, which is apparently a flat-response IR, so like no IR. If I recall correctly, people used it so they could use the proximity settings before a 'null' mic was added? I forget.

Anyway, with the 'Null' IR, you should be able to use the mic sim and preamp sim without any pesky cabs getting in the way.

Cliff also mention that he might add a none option to the cab block in a future firmware.
