MFC 101 - Overly Bright LED's?

Addendum to using a silver sharpie: I had an outdoor gig yesterday and when it was pretty bright out, the sharpie ink prevented me from seeing green. Red was OK. When the sun was lower and ambient light not as bright, it was fine.

Yet another approach might be to ask Fractal Audio if the current supply to the LEDs might be under software control. If so, perhaps they might expose that value as a user-controllable parameter in a future release of MFC-101 software.

If this happens to be the case, one might even be able to adjust the LED brightness with an expression pedal.

I set up an MFC for someone who wanted the LEDs dimmed.

We used masking tape dots. Worked like a charm.

That's what I have done. Have not tried them in daylight, will get to test that out this Sun afternoon.
