Marshall Plexi: AC/DC Angus Young live sound with Axe-Fx III & FM3

Do you think the preset is good enough to become a factory preset?

I updated my own ACDC preset with additional/different cabs. I thought I'd share so here are more cabs for you to try out.
I really like your ACDC+ preset and your IR

But I'm fighting a bit with the extra IRs and ToneMatch. Could you please export your Preset incl. IR (Export Preset+Cab Bundle)? Would be much easier. Your IR has the character of my DynaCab:

But currently I use Angus amp settings, refer to attachment (just Scene6).

I updated the preset for Firmware 27.00b2 and just use the Marshall 1959SLP like Angus anymore. Please refer to first post of this thread.

Remark: After calibration of my speakers in my room I need to adapt the presets again. There is too much treble/less highcut/wrong cab settings.

Proximity seems to make a big difference also with AC/DC sound. I will try to find the best combination of both presets. Interesting is, that AC/DC mics sitting direcly in front of the cab in live situation. But there will be additonal ones for live room feeling. The mix will make the difference.

Thank you...for reminding me there is an option to Ignore people.
If someone goes to the effort
to put together so much information and maintain a good preset,
then he shouldn't be insulted for it here in the forum.
That's not good manners!

Thanks @TheRedDevil, I like the preset and also the information about AC/DC.

PS. What are your findings about proximity?

I updated my preset (version 3.0) by usage of Ollo Audio S4X (HighCut 4900Hz) and the correct preamp/master volume settings and tubes Angus uses. I set Grid Bias and Gain Enhancer to maximum to push the amp to the limit and get the live feeling. IN3/Out3 can be used with pedal1 and external Freqout. The IR players can be used for your own room-speaker-IRs (I don't use it currently). Filter can be used with pedal2 to give guitar a bit more of treble or bass. The compressors before the outputs are only used as limiters to prevent the monitors from getting too loud if USBIn delivers too high input level.

I added version 3.1 just SM57 based with more treble and less dark.

I added Angus amps settings from rig rundown video:

Edit: Update is available for FW31.00b2

Your 1970 Plexi sounds really good.
The AC-DC amp tech runs the amps on a hot bias. I like what 102% Bias Excursion does to the power tubes. The lead playing gets easier IMHO.

Hi holgar, thank you very much. Great idea, I will test it out and will read about it in wiki. I was thinging about what will be the easiest way for Angus amp tech to push the EL34 and thought it's the bias (I made this in past once).
In the video he says, that every tube set last just 4 shows and then he needs to replace it.
It would be very interesting which "settings" Angus amp tech Simon Murton really changes.

For SLP: That's right, these 90% Grid Bias + 2% Bias Execusion is a piece of sugar on top of the cake. For solos it really helps. But I need my Ollos to hear the difference w/o Reverb/Enhancer. Thank you!
