Looper

Does anyone know if the looper use the current tempo to quantize the loop?

(I did look for this information in the wiki before posting)

Ok thats fine, I'm just trying to plan ahead... getting an Ultra this year and I'm also looking at doing some looping. Our drummer plays off a click track most of the time, so I'm hoping to piggy back off that midi tempo and keep in sync. Looks like a stand alone unit for me then.

Thx for the reply.

A standalone looper is really a better idea. The Ultra's is very limited.

If you´re not out after loooooooong looper time, you could use backline-engineerings RiffBox. You can even sync it to your drummer (instead of the clicks he listens to).

It got some pretty cool features, that makes me even wanna have that one as well (already owning an echoplex digital pro plus).

Good luck getting anything accomplished on Wikipedia...that place has gotten quite ugly in the last couple of years. :(
