Looking for an affordable FRFR floor monitor for Fractal FM9

Hi all! Looking for a budget-friendly FRFR floor wedge for my Fractal FM9. Budget is $450–$550 / €425–€525. 8–10", fairly flat, light, and loud enough for rehearsal/small gigs.

Any first-hand experiences? What FRFR wedge are you using with your FM9 (or FM3/Axe-Fx), and why?

I'm going to recommend something probably noone else will. The older Electrovoice ZXA1 monitor worked absolutlely great for me and is about 400.00 used, and maybe you can even find a better deal than that. It's extremely lightweight, sounds great, and took as much volume as I needed for a loud rock band with a loud stage volume. I have others that have different qualities, but I actually prefer this over some of my more expensive powered monitors when I used it with my AX8. (and an Ampero StageII). . Your mileage might vary, and some won't consider it as it doesn't cost enough, or is plastic. :).

Thanks for all the replies so far, its been helpfull!

A few of you pointed out that my original budget might be a bit optimistic for a good, gig-worthy FRFR wedge.

I’ve decided to increase the budget and I’m now looking in the up to around $800-900 / €750-850 range for a solid FRFR floor monitor that will work well with my FM9 for rehearsals and small gigs.

If that changes your recommendations, I’d really appreciate hearing about them.

Also very interested in real-world experiences from people using these wedges specifically with Fractal (FM9/FM3/Axe-Fx), rather than just spec sheet impressions.

Thanks again!

But a pair of Fender FR-12 FRFR's, use the tilt legs for "wedge" mode, and run them in stereo!
