Let's see those FM9 rigs!

I typically put flanger and phaser before the amp block.
Then you're golden. The delays in flanging are short enough that the distance between the speakers is enough to mess with the effect if mixing the dry and wet in the air from separate speakers. I found that one out 25 years ago doing WDW with the old Quadraverb2. Roughly, 1ft. = 1 ms, and flanging lives in the single digit milliseconds range, generally....

Hi folks, thanks for showing your rigs !

I’m about ready to get some kind of pedal board and the plan is:
1- an FM9 and 2 mission expression pedals, one with a spring.
2-one pedal devoted to volume, heel back to tuner
3-one spring pedal devoted to effect based on preset

I’ve seen a lot of great ideas, looks like the Duo 34 is a strong contender.
I just want easy at the end of the day…easy to set up, easy to take down.
Any suggestions would be MOST appreciated. Thanks ! :)

My rig that you see above is a Duo 34, so it can fit a FM9 and three expression pedals with a little bit of air space around the FM9 for the vents. I have had the board for years, and have been using the same setup with an AFX3/FC-12 since 2019. It has been fantastic.

I grabbed the FM9T to simplify my load in/out when gigging. With that addition, I have cut the number of items I need to carry in half. I used to carry my guitar in its gig bag, the board in its bag, my rack with AFX3 and a stand for the rack (4 items). Now all I need is the guitar and the board. I'll be taking the new setup out for its maiden voyage tomorrow morning!
