What an inspiration, a giant, completely and totally unique, recognizable in about a tenth of a second.

What I loved about Jeff was of all the guys from that period he kept growing as a guitarist and innovating his style. There’s been so many losses in the last decade, but this is a tough one.
When you get the likes of David Gilmour, Eric Clapton & Jimmy Page saying how good a guitarist Beck is (said long before his passing), one gets a sense of how much of a loss this legend really is.
Quite bummed to hear about this. Jeff was a huge inspiration for me to take up guitar after listening (x 1000) to the Blow By Blow record. Still his own unique voice these many decades later, now suddenly quiet.
Sometimes you see an artist in concert only once and it makes it that much more memorable.
For me, it was in 1980 on his, "There and Back" tour. I can still remember him opening with, "Starcycle" and "El Becko."
When you listened to him, you never knew which note he was going to play next. I don't even think he knew either...
I made this a little while ago using preset that sort of imitated the royal albert hall, and jeff beck just played at the hall. See if ya like it. I was thinking of Jeff when i made it. This is for you Jeff. R.I.P
