Yes, he kept his playing away from other styles by keeping it very uniquely him. He never became normal and run of the mill, his playing was so stand alone amazing and you knew it was him straight away

I got a chance to see him in 2016.
Dude still had it, truly one of, if not the best guitar players ever.
The one major influence on my playing.
Blow by Blow changed my guitar playing life.
Gonna whip out some "People Get Ready" and "Ended as Lovers" during practice time today.

Just heard the news as walking through the door of my home after band rehearsal

He was the Guvnor, a hero to all my guitar heroes and one of my favourites.

I have fond memories of him playing a light's out version of Big Block live at Embarcadero Park. One of a kind.

Damn...another great taken from us. Beck was one of my major influences back in the day - sat for hours at a time listening to Wired over and over learning as much of the licks as I could. RIP Jeff....you will be sorely missed brother.
