Issue with widi master

Hello everyone, this is my post on this forum so please bear with me.

I am trying to send/receive midi program changes and control changes via bluetooth using the widi master device.

So far, I've updated the firmware on the widi master, I've successfully connected via bluetooth to both my iPhone and MacBook, but when I try to send/receive midi messages the fm3 does not send anything.

I tried this midi monitor app that Scott Uhl suggested in one of his YouTube videos to test/debug whatever might be happening with my device. So far, the midi monitor does recognize my widi master device, but when I press any button (scene change for example) the midi monitor does not register any activity from my device. I set up the midi settings on my fm3 to what everyone seems to be using (including Leon Todd) but the thing just does not send anything out.

Does any of you have an idea of what the problem might be? I am starting to get frustrated with the device because I can't seem to be able to use it at all.

I'm no midi expert but I'm not ignorant to the basic setups, so I know I'm in the right channel, sending the right program change but the thing just doesn't connect.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you've got the right plug in the right jack.

I have no experience with the Widi Master but that's a common "challenge" with various midi adapters.
