I'm not that interested in most of the cabs, but really wanted the vintage Marshall's in it so I caved and bought it. The basketweave is listed as being a '71, which is the same year as the GNR cab, so I'm assuming it's the same. This new version sounds really good. When compared to the original, the new one is way leaner in the low end. That has always been my issue with the original and have been looking for a newer replacement and this seems to be it. I also compared it to the Friedman pre-rola and the Classic Rock pack. The Friedman is a little scooped and kind of bright and the Classic Rock one is more aggressive and also brighter.

The pinstripe is a '67 with G12H 25w 55hz speakers, which are pretty rare. It's a 1982b. which I believe were the tall oversized cabs during this era. This one sounds pretty cool also.

I tested out some of the Deluxe cabs with matching amps and also the Vox and they are all really good also. I really like the "boutique" mixes that are included, which are the ones taken from the Tone King pedal. They're really balanced sounding and not as agressive as a 57-121 mix.

Interesting. I wonder which is chicken and which is egg.

I didn't see anything saying they were captured from the pedal. Did i miss it?

Or did Ownhammer do the IRs in the pedal in the first place? Didn't see anything saying that either.

Ownhammer did all the IRS in the pedal. It's shown in some of the demo videos of it. The bundle is the mixes that come in the pedal, plus other mixes of those cabs.

Cool, guessed as much, but haven't looked at that pedal at all, didn't even know about it, not looking for anything like that.

Good arrangement for them both. Who else would you call if you wanted bespoke IRs for your new pedal?
 
@ownhammer as an international visitor to your site I get directed to this page, which only has products for Line6 hardware. And if I have a VPN on the site denies me any access at all. How can I purchase your products?
 
I also bought the M25en ultra res pack, I like it much better than pre-rola and it's even the most authentic İr I've ever heard, I can't stop playing, the greenbacks Tickle my feelings. would love to have such an Ultra Res Pack for Bogner, @ownhammer? Please!!!

Ugh, that's too bad.

I think Ownhammer has had more than their fair share of piracy problems, which might be why their site is so locked down.

Still, it's hard to believe they don't care at all about international sales of their flagship product lines. The lack of any kind of customer service contact method is also disheartening, and not a good look, however much i respect and support them.
 
@ownhammer Is there no way to reach out to the support now?
I have Moabi, Friedman and maybe some other libraries missing in my purchases, and there seems to be not a single way to reach out to the support.

@ownhammer hasn't posted in the forum for over a year. I received their last newsletter almost half a year ago.
 
They've had some Line 6-specific products for a fair while, but also stuff under their own name, which they still sell.

Peculiar situation, peculiar public face for a company.
