Integrating samples in a live performance.

Got one of those, thinking of integrating - did you program the FM9 to send MIDI commands to the RC? Looks doable with some figuring - any other little tips from your experience? Used it before into the PA for Pink Floyd clocks etc,, but outside of the FM9.
So I actually ended up using band helper to que up the samples for each song but you can do the same from the fractal.

Here is where I kept some notes.

The big quirk of getting it working was the having to send a 0 on the same CC# right after whatever command you send. Think of everything kind of like a toggle (127 pedal down, 0 pedal up). You would do it king like this. I recommend keeping the pedal on you pedal board for actually triggering the sample (it lets you shut the sample off really fast if the band is rushing the tune and getting out of sync without having to change scenes on your fractal ;)) . It gets really weird trying to keep track of the pedals current state if you don't do that.
  1. Ex: if you send CC#80 127, CC#80 0 the sample will play but the pedal stays in that state. So you would need to CC#80 0 CC#80 0 then CC#80 127, CC#80 0 to start playing again. If you mess with it a little bit you will get the pattern of how it works.
