...I'm sure some of you may know how much I love SRV. Apparently, a slight kiss of this effect is on top of all of his recordings.
I heard the magic of a real huge rack Dimension D live in a cafe a few times in the 80ies, I think.
It sounded great and described as "You don't hear it, except when you take it off."
Yes, the guy used it in good taste on a jazz/Metheny kind of sound
