I switched! Axe-Fx II to AX8

I also went from Standard to Axe Fx II to the Ax8. I didn’t need two amps at once, and tuning is faster than with the AxII and MFC. Plus no rack. No regrets.
 
I made the switch, but haven't sold the Fx II. Was going to but then the 8 had to go back (twice). Been working fine since and I love it, but we just got a new studio and I'm going to take the Fx II there and leave it with a guitar so I don't have to haul gear each week. My turn came up for the III but passed til at least the foot controller is available. I agree that a floor unit Axe Fx III would be optimal. All that said, I can't complain one bit about the Fx II and MFC They've been with me nearly 5 years with the CLR's and never had an issue with any of it.
