Anyone familiar with the trem system ("Gotoh T1802 tremolo system")?
yep! It's the one used by prestige AZ line.
Basically a 510 with some modifications.
I own one of them (on a AZ2402) and I find that it's a very simple and reliable bridge: fast string change, good tuning/intonation stability, super build quality

Crazy price list here

I cannot decide between the LACS11 AMETHIST ($15,999) or the JPCS18 DARK IRIS ($13,333) 🤪:p

Probably the RG550ish LACS11, because I hate how gold hardware wears off :D

I would love to make an A/B comparison with my old RG550LTD. No expensive guitar has yet survived my RG550LTD. I've sold them all out of despair as they all had some flaw (e.g.: dead note) and offered not much added value. Including a Suhr Modern Satin, J-Custom RG8550MZ, JS2450, JEM7V, S5470Q-RBB... long and expensive etc. My RG550LTD is a lucky piece of wood from FujiGen 🤠

@Piing have you ever tried another one of that same model? They're available, for not-completely-stupid prices, wondering if it might be worth a play. Or maybe you just got the magic one?

I've played with a standard RG550. It was a great guitar, but not the same experience. It didn't had the resonance and mojo of this 550LTD
