I don't know if this is old news or not, but I thought I would post it in case people are having issues. Fractal let me know that the issue is with the MFC, and it needs to be sent back to be repaired.

FYI: Save yourself the trouble...these Aviom cables are NO DIFFERENT than any other CAT5 cable. "Lay flat" my A&$!

Not really much difference (if any). They just have it categorized so you can find it easier.

The only exception being the Cat5 cable if they're using M@'s spec, and the Humbuster cables which are different from a normal TRS to TS cable.

How are the Humbuster cables different that a normal TRS to TS?

Digging up old threads lol...

Cat 6 is used for bandwidth/speed over cat 5 cable mostly. Since it really doesn't matter for our application might as well save yourself a few dollars and just go cat 5....
