FW 10.6 All amps + cab

Fractal Fanatic
Hi,

I just finished compiling an amp list similar to the one I've done for FW9.0.

Amp List FW10.6

I've added a spreadsheet.

Amp List

With the following columns:
Name of preset
Amp
Cab suggestions
Producer cab suggestions
V9 cabs suggestions
Cab used
Name of Cab used
Drive
Master
Level
Cab Level
Remarks: this is for advanced settings - If f.e.I turned on the bright switch and changed the cap value.

Feel free to comment and please send me the settings if you have any suggestions for better sounding amp/cab combinations or settings.

This is cool, I'm new to this. So this has the recommended master levels right and what about the amp level. Are those the numbers that make these all equal volume across the board or something?

Very cool btw and yes thanks for your time!

Yep

Thanks guys.
Just thought I'd give something back to the forum that has given me so much.

thanks MisterE , great "reference book", very usefull
don't know which one to select as I love so many of these amps !
and it's very important to be able to get the right combo AMP+cab, and have at least some guidelines...

I find myself liking more and more amps with each firmware update.
I've found a way to put 40 amps in one bank with the Gordius.
So I'm thinking about having five banks of eight amps
Going from Clean - Dirty - Low Gain - Mid Gain tot High Gain

On a side norte.
i've programmed the EVH's and the Peavey 5150 and 6505 with the designated cab.
But you should try it with a V30!

Is there any significance in the spreadsheet to the first number being 251, and the last number in that column being 383? At first I thought these might have been patch numbers (or are they?)

BTW - thanks for what was obviously a LOT of work!

They're preset numbers. 383 is the last preset in the Axe, so he's got them all tucked up into the last part of the preset range.

Hey MisterE,

You know what's missing, don't you?
The cherry on the pie: audio samples!!
You're a great player so let's hear it. :)
