So that is stereo in right... why the h are people saying it kills stereo in.... on other message boaMaybe rds..
Maybe because the reverb does so? Have you read it right?
AFAIK, some blocks sum to mono at the input, then make a new stereo for you. Or maybe it's just the reverb?

Well know Tuesday...

If it's $699 I'll likely buy one immediately... $799 I'd have to think about it and read the full manual... $899, probably won't buy it at least not until I see some very detailed reviews.

My interest is in using it in conjunction with my FM3.

Reverb does not kill stereo
Maybe I'm confusing them with a newer mono spring reverb?
Am I correct for that one?
I always thought the Axe reverb famously summed to mono at the input (and of course gives you a new stereo) -- damn... :D
I guess the mix knob also has some say in it...

Looking at the schematic I guess the new FX are made from summing the input, but you can mix in the original to keep your original stereo.

That would be a serious drawback because we normally place the reverb at the end of the chain, and that would kill the stereo imaging of the delay, chorus, rotary, panned CABs, etc.

All reverb models, including the mono spring, maintain the integrity of the stereo path. And the same with the mono delays.
