There's no real risk... It's stable and and simple to revert as long as you backup first.
Maybe I will tomorrow. I don't have a gig till February 22nd so lots of time to sort out trouble.

I gigged it a couple times without issue.I'm still on 8.01 as well. I like what I'm hearing & reading about 8.02. Are some of you are gigging v8.02b4 without issue? I'm super tempted to go for it, but I'm going to wait until after my next gig.
I hit the check for updates button about every 2 weeks and just did it now and I always get the Updates not available. What am I not getting?FM9 Firmware Version 8.01 is now available for download:
https://www.fractalaudio.com/downloads/firmware-presets/fm9/8p0/fm9_dsp_rel_8p01.zip
An updated version of FM9-Edit is required for use with this release:

A Dyna-Cab update is required if updating from an FM9 firmware version prior to 8.00 Beta 1.
The required Dyna-Cab file is included in the 'zip' file for this release.
If you are upgrading from version 7.00 or older, please follow the instructions in the Firmware Update guide PDF that is included to install the firmware and Dyna-Cabs. If you are updating from 8.00 beta 1 or higher, Dyna-Cabs do not need to be reinstalled.
What version are you running?I hit the check for updates button about every 2 weeks and just did it now and I always get the Updates not available. What am I not getting?
I still have the issue, that after I don't use it for a while, my mac (latest generation) which is directly connected to my FM9 FW 8.01 by usb goes to sleep. After I turn the screen on again, the Axe-Edit is disconnected from the FM9 and can not connect anymore. I have to turn the FM9 off and on again.
Anyone else? Any remedies?
