Dave,to confirm, my existing patches will change when updating?
Thanks Bob, I think my question was for my custom presets (patches I've created) when I run the update ui script 4 post fw... Will my created presets be re initialized to new settings? This was a common thing in ax8 days... has it returned?Thank you, FAS!
Dave,
The factory presets may bump large block number count presets over the recommended 80% CPU range mark. Redownloading the factory presets allows more freedom regards staying with the CPU limits, specifically for non-turbo FM9s. User presets are not part of this, and may need manual adjustment individually. Best to scroll through your user presets and check where your CPU usage falls.
TBH, I don't think so. User presets were created by the user and don't change when one updates the factory presets. Might be wise to sample each user preset and try to simplify/modify your preset whenever possible so as to involving smaller amounts of CPU.Thanks Bob, I think my question was for my custom presets (patches I've created) when I run the update ui script 4 post fw... Presets don't get updated by firmware updates... Regardless of being Factory or user presets.TBH, I don't think so. I'll need to do that myself every time we receive a finished final version. Will try to make better use of room air, multi-tap delay, and cleaner verses.
So on the release notes published by @leagueofkruger, do not say they are limited to factory...TBH, I don't think so.
