FM9 Case?

I have a Pedaltrain Novo 24 soft case. I may try to use this. Will get some some to line it as it's a little larger than the FM9 unit.
So I get my FM9 this week. I plan to put in on my Pedaltrain Novo 24, and keep in soft case, at least for around the house.

Does anyone use zip ties with padding to keep it on the Pedal Train? I'd rather avoid using Velcro until I know for sure I"m keeping it.

I have used pedal train for many years and still have a pedaltrain for my pedals when I use my tube amps. However for the FM9, I use a Temple audio board and the right size screws to go under the board in to the FM9. This is how I feel most confident with it being mounted solid. I wouldn't want to velcro it to any board. I did, initially dual lock it to the temple board, while I sourced the screws. It wasn't as solid as I would have liked.
I certainly wouldn't want to use zip ties.
The added benefit with the Temple audio board is all the mod plates to have everything neatly routed. I got the Duo 34 so I had room for my EV-1, GLXD16+ and a couple other pedals.

Expensive piece of gear to have in a bag.
I've been carrying an FM9 and FC6 in Studio Slips bags for quite a while now, with good results. They get jostled around, and even ride in the equipment trailer from time to time, and the gear has remained undamaged. Though nothing gives as much protection as a hard case, a bag has proven a very serviceable option for me.

I’ve got a temple 34 board with soft case on the way. Also a Pelican v700 hard case coming in as well. Will be doing the build out over the next couple weekends and will report back. I was thinking the soft case for when it’s not in use at home. And the hard case for travel to rehearsal/gigs.

I use a Pelican Air 1555 case with the foam insert. I saw a video by Matthew Dale so I bought one on Amazon. It fits perfectly.

Yeah but it doesn't have any wheels or an extended handle. That's why I went with the Seahorse 920.

I got the Gator GK2110 Multi-Effect Bag but is too soft…Thinking to switch for the Gator Helix Floor Case…or this one blue inside, but I don’t know the brand, I know only fits the GT1000 and the ME90 which is a bit bigger than the FM9…A Pelican Case or a Seahorse it’s a bit bigger for me, for sure better I think…The Gator looks sturdy but I don’t know…Suggestions are welcome !!! Thanks

a little more feedback on the multicomp pro case linked above. used some velcro to keep the latches from dropping.

here's a few pics. think it will work just fine. if it looks like it's not sitting flat, it isnt at the moment....until i get off the ev2 waitlist. plenty of room beneath. you can see the ev2 on the right side. #2 ev2 will go on the left side to keep weight balanced. appreciate whoever mentioned balancing weight. i probably would have completely forgotten. i was going to sit it as close to 2 sides as reasonably safe to allow me to pack other stuff beside it. i like the two layer system better.
still very happy w this case. i store 3 ev2 pedals beneath the fm9 as well as cables. been working great for gigs.

I’ve been lurking on this forum for awhile and finally pulled the trigger on an FM9, which I absolutely love. Now I’m obsessing over accessories, including cases. After reading this entire thread, I ended up buying the Newark hard case that was posted in a video earlier. $75 with shipping and seems like a great deal. I’ll try to share an update after I’ve used it for a bit.

Haven't seen it before but I'm intrigued.
My Gator GK-2110 case arrived yesterday and my FM9 arrives today, so we will see about the fit. I plan on using it exclusively at home, so I didn't need something like the bag from Studio Slips. I love the looks of the SS gig bag, but the $215 base price deterred a purchase, at least for now...

I just got my FM9 yesterday and found one of those Gator GK-2110 bags in my attic that I'm planning on using with it. The FM9 fits comfortably with about 1" or so of space around the sides left over. The EV2 fits in the pocket with power and TRS cables. Seems durable enough. Nicely portable compared to a hard case.

Thank you, Aaron! I appreciate your input.

Finally got this...The Gator Cases ATA Style Case for the Line 6 Helix....very nice and give's me some space to accommodate cables and the exp pedal. The casters works smoothly, the lockers too...Now let's see on the day by day
