FM3 midi Strymon Riverside

Hi.
I might have a good deal on a Strymon Riverside and did some research. The Strymon has the ability to receive midi to for example change preset on it.
I'm new to this midi thing so I wonder if it's possible to use it like this:
The Strymon in the loop of the FM3 and then connect midi out from the FM3 to change preset on the Strymon when changing scenes.
Did someone do something similar or is it even possible?
I want to use it in the loop for reamping purposes.

Yes, you can do exactly that with the Scene MIDI block. Check it out in the Blocks Guide, p 88

I have Riverside in Ax3 loop. I send it midi PCs (from MFC) so a different Riverside preset is available (via loop activation) for each Ax3 preset/scene.

Riverside = best od/ds pedal I've ever owned (even though there's nothing it does that Ax can't relicate really).

Sounds good. Yeah, heard good things about it... I'll probably try it, can never have too much gear..
