hello i succesfully conected fm3 as you mentioned but have you tried updating the unit through midi usb too? my usb is not working either and i couldn't update with midi =(

Hi! Yes, everything works this way and is successfully updated, but it takes a long time, if you are moving from version 6 to 7 and also flashing Dino Cubs, then flashing the update itself will take about 40 minutes, flashing Dino Cabs firmware 1 hour 7 minutes, flashing firmware from version 7 to 8 for me took about 30 minutes

Hello to everyone!
I cannot connect my FM3 to my Mac anymore, I have tried to connect it to other computers, its the same.
It's not harmed or broken, but it doesn't work at all. So, I had to go to professional to see it, and with the thermal camera we saw that actually the USB is connected to the CPU motherboard so it's impossible to repair, is it like that?
Please if someone had some experience let me know.

I use the Yamaha Bluetooth MIDI adapter, and connect to it via Bluetooth with my MBP, and it works for me as an alternative solution when I want to go wireless between my MBP and my FM3.
