FM3 into FRFR cab

Hey all,
Sorry for my noob question, but I'm going to be playing live pretty soon and I've always gigged with heads/cabs. This will be my first time gigging with the FM3. Right now, I just plug into my Yamaha HS7 monitors at home. I need something to play live with and rehearsals. Im looking into a FRFR wedge or two, but I'm a little confused on if I'll need a SS power amp with the wedges?

For example, will I need a SS power amp with these headrush cabs? Or are these just plug and play like my HS7's?

Or the Atomic CLR NEO: power amp needed or no?

I've done some researching, but still a little confused.
Thanks for any help :)

OK cool. Thanks. So, powered frfr wedge = no power amp. and a passive frfr wedge needs power amp?
That's it. As far as the CLR's go, they have been out of stock for ages & might be a real long wait if you get on their waiting list. That said, they are far superior to the Headrush ( I have 2 CLR's). You might be able to find one used but make sure you check to see if it is powered or not. They currently only make powered ones but they used to make passive ones as well. Also, check out Xitone. I have never played through one but they are very highly regarded by other members here.

You always need a power amp. If your speaker has a power amp built in ("powered speaker"), you're good to go. Of not, then you need to get a power amp for it.

Just got the Laney 2x12 FRFR and Its better than my old Headrush 12" but costs a little more but it actually sounds and feels like a guitar cab with my FM3
