FM3 Firmware Version 8.00

I did 2 shows this weekend with no issues other than the volume being louder than what the preset was saved at. Stepped on scene 1 switch and it was back to normal.

When changing the global speaker impedance curve from default to something else, does the curve show up in the amp block speaker tab for all amps ?
Anyone?

That parameter doesn't actually change the SIC that's loaded in your presets but just changes the default curve when you select an amp model (which I find a bit silly honestly)

just reported the bug in a separate thread with a video to show the issue, it happens everytime on a fresh boot/first time turning the unit on

once things have been clicked on, activated/deactivated the problem goes away

let's see what devs say on it
Had the same Sunday night at a gig, preset with kill dry on and could only hear the delay, not the dry signal.

Jumped to another preset, then back again and it fixed it, only issue i've had with the firmware though. :)

yeah , same thing here, only issue i've had so far

since we do all our sound changes with the laptop/midi, it's a bit more dangerous😄 but the work around is easy at least, once everything's up and running

Probably a misconfiguration on my side, but not sure where exactly.
This preset is downloaded from AxeChange for FM9 to FM3T. It has the same name on AE.

All I did is I moved two delays to the second column from the right (by default the layout is broken on FM3), increased the volume to 0dB for each delay and changed bypass mode to Mute FX In for all delays and chorus. Sound is not coming through when delays are bypassed. I didn't touch the KillDry function.
If you open the Meters page on the device, you'll notice that Chorus and Delay in the third column often clip red, and the delay in the bottom line doesn't show a signal at all.
I'm very confused why it that - manual says "Mute FX In" is what I need for this to work. Is it not?

Thanks, yeah if it could globally change in the amps thats been used already , that would be kool. Ha

I believe chorus with fx mute is the issue if it's in line with the amp.

Didn't load the preset but every block in series needs to be mute thru or it will be closed when muted. Mute fx in is only for effects in a parallel chain.

Hello, but the Virtual Capo on the new firmware works well? I've used it yesterday and sounds strange (as the guitar sound was doubled, same settings but with the firmware 7.00 sounds great. I don't know why :-/
Do you notice the same things or not?
Thanks you all

It works great you just have to make sure that you’re not hearing your guitar acoustically while you play. In other words, turn your monitors up louder.

I am anxious to upgrade to 8.0 for the new amp algorithms and gapless which would really help me in live performance, however, with the killdry issue am I opening myself up to some heartache? Sounds like an easy work around by just switching scenes once you boot, but I have several gigs coming up so I am trying to access risk reward. I use a preset per tune sometimes 2 so gapless is important. Anybody gigging 8.0? If so, any advice? I am tempted to go for it...but am cautious by nature...lol

I had no issues last weekend doing 2 shows.

I guess you can simply avoid using this feature until the next release, and enjoy everything else.
I have zero issues with it, probably cause I didn't press this button even once yet!
