Those who can do the update, can you give us the cpu usage of the dynacabs?
Same. No increase.

Can you use 2 different cabs or is it one cab 2 mic choices in channel A, BAt least on my main preset, I had only 1 IR running on Ultra-Res mode and the CPU usage was on 73%, and now, with 2 Dyna-Cabs (Recto 4x12 Slant, 2 different Mics), it's down to 67%! And sounds much better than my previous IR!! Awesome!!
You can use 2 different cabs, and and choose any Mic you want for each cab, all within the same Cab block! Can you use 2 different cabs or is it one cab 2 mic choices in channel A, B
Fractal is a totally different style of company that other companies could learn from.Wow, I'm new to the Fractal world, and never has Quad Cortex ever delivered on a promise this many days after an announcement! Amazing, and can't wait to try!
Confirmed. I'll take a look. Thanks for the report.Does anyone else get this 'crackeling' noise issue in the CAB ? -
In the Cab block - Room/Air setting - if first Room level > 0 AND the Room Diffusion > 0 = makes the noise*
If one of them is OFF (room diffusion) = no noise
And in addition to that, dyna-cabs in the FM3 are 1024 samples, as opposed to the 2048 samples of the axe fxRemember that on the FM3, cab processing runs in an CPU accelerator instead of the core DSPs, which saves CPU.
I have the same.Everything sounds phenomenal!
One potential bug -- when using dyna cabs, it feels like there is some latency in the processing. Can anyone else either confirm or deny this?
Came here to say the same. Not intended as a complaint--I'm thankful to have the FM3 port attempted. But right now, I would stick with the legacy cab system.Everything sounds phenomenal!
