I've noticed that there are several new features in the FM3-edit 1.04.00. One is of course the dynamics page with Master Bias Excursion, but also something called the "Input Dynamics"! Also a new meter on this page.



There's also the nice cursor feature in the impedance screen, which for me is a good help as I have already mapped the impedance curve of my 4x12. I can measure exact frequencies and find a matching curve to my cab. Really nice things!

Input dynamics isn’t supported on the FM3 hardware(yet?). Probably carried over from AxeEdit.

Installing this firmware update does not update all amp block parameters in existing presets, including Negative Feedback and other p.a. controls.

So if you want to make sure that you hear the amp model as intended, reset the Amp block.

This is what I have been after, it probably could get rawer, but this is fantastic. I have a track record of keeping Fractal products for 3 months then sell or trade, but I have taken off all the plastic and I am so happy to make the FM3 my main unit for now on, thank you FAS

Hey just erased all the preset before updating to this beta... I thought "clear preset" would just restore preset to default settings...
Where can I found all the default preset to put them back in the FM3?

Also a FM3 Edit update popup up this morning with 4.0 beta 1 compatibility !

Edit: found preset for 1.06, seems the way to go.

The FM3 has now reached what I first perceived it’s potential to be when I was lucky to be one of the first civilians to try one out when they were first announced and previewed a lifetime ago at the last AxeFest…..I now get the same feeling thru monitors and CLR that I did when hearing The FM3 prototype thru the best floor monitors in the world (Meyer) in Boston…(EDIT..guess it did not hurt that beside my mediocre sunrise hacking, some of the other folk giving it a go included Leon, Mark Day, @Admin M@ , Andy Wood.. and Dweezil.

Is anyone else having issues with USB playback? I get about 1 second of audio and then it drops out completely until I disconnect and reconnect, then the same thing happens. This was happening on the 3.03 beta also. I'm using an iPhone on the latest iOS, connected with a Lightning to USB adapter, playing music from iTunes. The iPhone shows that audio is routed to the FM3 and continues playing after the audio drops on the FM3. This was working pretty well before 3.03b.
