Amazing update.
Two things from me:
1. 082 Petrucci 2025 preset, sounds a bit muffed to me. Just a bit. May be the choice of the IR's is not exactly matching the recent Petrucci sound...may be it is only me. What is your opinion?
2. I am playing JP15- stereo Y -cable - In1 and In2, and only yesterday the sound of the piezo was very strange. I thought that my battery drained, and I plugged the guitar in the Focusrite, and through Archetype Petrucci, the piezo sound was normal. Plugged it again in FM3 - same strange piezo sound. Changed cables - same, build new preset - same. Used left IN2 instead of right - same.
I restarted the FM3 - the problem disappeared, and I was not able to reproduce it anymore.
I was also comparing the Petrucci Rig 2025 with 2023 and an earlier version, and felt it was less gainy and more muffed. The Dual Detune pitch block got replaced with an Enhancer, which I'm unsure is better for doubling. I did notice there are new DynaCab settings in channel C and D that you could try if you want more treble. I'm lazy with tweaking cabs and got Petrucci's tonemission IRs that seem to work well. I may be off, but 2025 feels a bit more like a live sound and earlier versions feel more like the studio sound. At the end of the day, I'm keeping different versions of the Petrucci Rig.

Would you mind to share your settings amp cab etc please
For cabs, I was referring to the Petrucci IRs purchased from Tonemission: https://tonemission.com/

Other than custom IRs, my settings are just the factory presets downloaded from Fractal:

Good evening, sorry again for my English, I'm French.
I tried this new firmware version again, following the advice given to me here.
I carefully reread all the release notes.
I reset my delays, reverbs, etc.
I should point out that I'm playing with almost only one preset, so I can really compare. I use my two preamps (Tone King and IR-D) in the FM3 loop.
And my verdict is still the same... something has happened to the audio signal. I find the sound less organic, my mid-room reverb less enveloping. My saturations roll less, and the EQ curve has changed.
I'm not saying it's bad with the new firmware, but I find my sound less natural. My Stratocaster sound is less fluty, my crunch sounds are less thick. This is the first update I don't like...

Did you check the room level in the Cab block? With this firmware, it's more pronounced and probably needs to be turned down a bit.

Gotcha. Not sure what else you could try besides rolling back to 9.01
Yes, indeed.
I'm a little disappointed.
I like to keep my equipment up to date, it bothers me.
But my sound was so good with the Fw9.01, especially in live situations plugged into the PA, that it bothers me a little to make concessions.
I'm surprised I'm the only one who feels this way, perhaps because I don't use the FM3's amp and cabinet simulations.

Nothing wrong with sticking to an earlier firmware if that's your preference

I'd double check the input /output settings within setup, my pad settings changed for example from 12 - 6 which caused input clipping, might be worth looking into as that would directly effect things

I had Band rehearsal 2 days ago (metal band) , went by flawlessly (midi from laptop to switch scenes / we play with IEMs) the differences I heard/felt at home were even better in the IEMs, tighter and clearer sounding high gain, very cool stuff

Yes, I can stay in an earlier version, but for how long?
Indeed, I also adjusted the PAD parameter because it was clipping. But I don't know how to explain what I feel...
It's more musical in FW9.01 for me, my playing feel is better, and it pays more homage to my analog tube preamps.
I think it comes largely from the Reverb block, which I find less enveloping, and for me, the overall EQ has changed in the Fw10.0

Dont know if this is the correct place to post this but on the updated firmware on the multidelay block 'space tape', the drive parameter appears to remove the delay the more it is raised, leaving a dry signal only. Is this correct or an error with the firmware. I thought the drive function applied to the trails only

Maybe you can post 2 clips of both sounds? 9.01/10

I reset my delays, reverbs, etc.
Any compressors in your chain? Those sound very different now. You keep saying the issue is with Reverb (which also changed a lot, so would need some adjustment to sound like it did before) but what's else in your chain? Maybe you can post your preset here?
