Finally got my guitars re-stringed

Was that in the last three months? We were up there a few months ago and, at every gas stop, had a "professional" filling the tank.

We probably got home just before that went into effect.

It's always amusing to us because we've been pumping our own gas for at least 50 years. We've been doing it a lot longer than many of them have been alive.

There is no 'etc.' Well, unless you insist on using a string stretcher. But it's not needed.

Oh and I'm curious if for that $153, did he at least lube your nut slots? What about polishing the guitar and conditioning the fretboard? (I forgot about a microfiber cloth. That is a "tool" you'd need if you're like me, and use string changes as the time to clean your guitar.)

I think the analogy that is closer is do people who buy lambos put their own fuel in their cars... predominantly yes, or they walk home after several hundred miles.

Nah I know what you mean. I recently brought all my shoes to the shoe shop and had them retied. Just because I wear shoes I'm not some sort of shoe engineer am I.

If my shoes come untied I simply file a warranty claim and get a new pair that are tied.

Oregon has FINALLY let customers pump their own gas! Took a pandemic and labor shortages or something to get that in place.

I do wonder if some natives (not that there are many) might feel intimidated.

We have one...a Shell. They just updated the pumps but get kept the 'kids' on staff to continue pumping gas. The gas station celebrated its 100th year in business last year.
